Our school

Our school is a friendly, happy, vibrant school located in Manningham. Our youngest children start in Reception and can learn with us all the way up to Year 6.  We work closely with the other schools in The Priestley Academy Trust to enable us to maximise what we can offer to our children across the six schools and develop a really strong community spirit.

We have an amazing teaching team and are very proud of how together, with our pupils, parents, governors and staff, we are a community of learners that grow together with the children at the very centre of everything we do. Our curriculum, outdoor provision and teaching is personalised to meet the needs and interests of our pupils. Through our wealth of teaching expertise, we celebrate all aspects of the National Curriculum with children and in the learning environment.  Our caring and supportive ethos is designed with our families at the heart and we aspire for our children to leave us as learners who are motivated to learn more.

We are a fully inclusive school and welcome families from all backgrounds.  We are proud of the support we offer for children with special educational needs and their families.  We work closely with external agencies to ensure the best possible support is in place.  You are very welcome to contact our SENDCo to discuss this further.

We offer a range of support to our community and are also a hub for a range of classes that support in developing the community including a food and clothing bank, Citizens Advice Support, EAL support and parental learning centre.

We have close links with the University of Bradford and regularly take advantage of our local talents and businesses to promote children’s aspirations and knowledge of a wide range of careers.  We work in partnership with our local schools to promote a wide range of sporting activities and competitions.
