Lilycroft Primary School believes…

‘ …..learning is the process of acquiring new, or modifying existing knowledge, behaviours, skills, values or preferences.’ *

Some learning is immediate, but much skill and knowledge accumulates from repeated experiences.  It is on these principles we base our curriculum thus providing a holistic approach to learning.

We follow the National Curriculum for Literacy, Maths and Science.  For all other areas we will give them rich, broad experiences, relevant knowledge, skills and values, that can be applied throughout life.

We aim to provide a meaningful curriculum that is fitting for our children and the community in which they live now and on the future.
