At Lilycroft it is very important to us to keep your child safe and happy. All staff are trained and made aware on how to keep children safe in class, the school grounds and while accessing the internet.
The local PCSO comes into school each year and holds sessions with all children in KS2 about how to stay safe online.
Following our ICT sessions we were really encouraged by your support as parents and carers to ensure children are staying safe when accessing the internet at home, on the laptops or on mobile phones.
Please find the website links below, and on the right, where you can access games and videos that you and your child can access to help you discuss how to stay safe online. If you have any questions or would like further help on this please contact school on 01274 543357 and we will help you as much as we can.
For help in deciding if your child should have a social media account, here are the age restrictions for the many different social media accounts that are available.
For help in deciding what the age ratings on films and video games mean follow this link http://www.pegi.info/en/index/ to the PEGI ratings website.
Here is some of the work our fantastic digital leaders have done around Esafety.
To further help you here are hand-outs from the parent sessions on Esafety.
